Hello and welcome to Fourth Grade! I am Michael Stoltzfus, and this will be my first year as part of the Saint Jude School Staff. I spent five years working with Mastery Charter School and the last six years with the School District of Philadelphia. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of students in grades three through eight and have taken pride in watching them grow and achieve.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from The Pennsylvania State University and earned my Master’s Degree, with a focus on Teaching and Learning, from Cabrini University. My wife and I have three wonderful children, Madison, Jacob, and Luke, who all look forward to attending Saint Jude mass on Sundays. We enjoy exploring the outdoors and visiting local parks, playgrounds, and fishing spots.
My teaching philosophy revolves around effort. Regardless of what future path students take, the ability to learn and grow from mistakes, adversity, and difficulty will always be an integral part of their success. I consider myself a lifelong learner and enjoy the process of learning, not just the end result.
